ALLEN & OVERY'S INTERNATIONAL
REAL ESTATE GROUP EXPANDS
International law firm Allen & Overy has recruited
Guillaume Lefèvre for the Paris office, specialising in real
estate and corporate law.
Before joining Allen & Overy, Guillaume worked at a French-American
law firm and advised on numerous national and international transactions
involving the purchase and sale of real estate portfolios and their
financing. He also advised on real estate debt refinancing and mortgage-backed
securitisation transactions. Prior to this, Guillaume worked for
seven years at one of the three largest notary firms in France,
as a lawyer specialising in notarial law and real estate law.
Adam Cleal, head of real estate commented:
"The recruitment of Guillaume is important
for the continued development of our International Real Estate Group
in France and internationally. The French market has been dominated
by the sale and lease-back of very large real estate portfolios
and Guillaume's skill base will further increase our capability
to undertake this complex work."
Guillaume Lefèvre commented:
"The French real estate market is becoming
more and more complex and international. I am delighted to have
joined international law firm Allen & Overy which is well-placed
for the current market."
Earlier this year, Kevin O'Shea joined the International Real Estate
Group, establishing the foundations of a broad real estate finance
practice in New York. In both Germany and Belgium, real estate teams
have recently been established. The International Real Estate Group
is continuing to build on its strategy of establishing a global
real estate practice.
