Barclays Capital Continues to Build
Corporate Risk Management Advisory Team
NEW YORK, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Barclays Capital,
the investment banking division of Barclays PLC, announced the appointment
of Jonathan Shiff as a Director in the Corporate Risk Management
team. He will be responsible for the development and marketing of
structured derivatives products. Based in New York, Mr. Shiff will
report to Ed Somekh, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Risk
Management and Derivatives.
"Jonathan's knowledge of the derivatives markets and products
will complement our growing US franchise. Our clients will benefit
from his expertise in risk management strategies and a track record
of developing value-added solutions," commented Somekh on the
appointment.
Mr. Shiff joins Barclays Capital from UBS Warburg where he was a
Director, Fixed Income Derivatives. In this role, he was responsible
for covering a variety of US corporations.
Mr. Shiff received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and
his MBA from Columbia University.
