BLAKES MONTREAL Acquires leading corporate/commercial lawyer
TORONTO and MONTREAL (July 16, 2003) - Blake, Cassels & Graydon
LLP, one of Canada's leading business laws firms, announced today
that prominent corporate/commercial lawyer Denis Boudreault will
be joining its Montreal office.

attract top legal talent and hiring Denis further strengthens our
growing corporate/commercial practice in Montreal."
Denis Boudreault specializes in business law and financing, including
public and private offerings, venture capital and private equity
financings. He frequently represents clients in mergers and acquisitions,
and in senior or subordinated debt transactions.
"Blakes' Montreal office is only 18 months old and has already
grown to 25 legal professionals," said Managing Partner Rob
Granatstein. "Hiring Denis is part of our ongoing growth plan
for the Montreal office."
Prior to joining Blakes, Mr. Boudreault was a partner in the Montreal
firm Lapointe Rosenstein.
He graduated from the Universite de Montreal law school in 1971,
and e= was admitted to the Quebec bar in 1972. He has spoken widely
on various corporate and commercial law topics, and has been a guest
lecturer in the MBA programs at the University of Quebec and the
Universite de Montreal.
