Banc of America Securities adds two analysts to European Credit
Research team
LONDON - Banc of America Securities has today announced
two senior hires to its European Credit Research team.
Jeffrey Burch joins Banc of America Securities from
Morgan Stanley's London office where he spent two years as a senior
analyst in their Corporate Bond Research team covering the UK and
European utility and energy sectors. Prior to this, Burch spent
a year at Morgan Stanley's Hong Kong office as a senior Corporate
Bond Research analyst covering the Asian and Australian utility,
energy and industry sectors. He also spent time with them in New
York as a senior Corporate Bond Research analyst covering the US
natural gas pipeline and Australian and Chilean utility sectors.
Burch began his career at Chase Securities Inc.
At Banc of America Securities, Burch will be a senior
Industrial/Utilities research analyst and will report to Peter Plaut,
head of European Credit Research.
Mihnea (Mick) Vasilache joins Banc of America Securities
from RAB Capital where he spent one year as a credit analyst on
the RAB high yield fund researching core long/short positions, relative
value trades, event-based trading ideas and distressed credits.
Prior to this he spent three years at JP Morgan in the global Leveraged
Finance team specialising in leveraged buy-outs and recapitalisations,
high yield new issuance and financial and business restructurings.
Before this, Vasilache spent two years at Morgan Stanley as a global
high yield research analyst.
At Banc of America Securities, Vasilache will be
a senior Cross Over/High Yield Industrials research analyst reporting
to Peter Plaut.
