New Partner at Merged Channel Islands Law Firm
21 May 2003 Carey Olsen, the largest law firm across the Channel
Islands with 120 lawyers in offices in Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney
and London has announced that Advocate Alison Ozanne has joined
the partnership.
Advocate Ozanne is a member of Carey Olsen Litigation
Group and specialises in banking and trust disputes, commercial
contract disputes and insolvency matters. She is also known for
her work in the area of regulation and compliance and was a key
speaker at a conference held by Olsens in November 2002 in Guernsey.
Born in Guernsey and educated at the The Grammar
School for Girls, before attending Exeter College, Oxford, Advocate
Ozanne is also Secretary to the Guernsey Bar Council.
Admitted as an English Solicitor in 1991, having
completed Articles in London, Advocate Ozanne was formerly part
of the successful Banking Litigation Team at leading City law firm
Nicholson Graham Jones before returning to Guernsey in 1998.
After one year with another Guernsey law firm she
joined the then Olsen Ferbrache Morgan in 2000 and was called to
the Guernsey Bar in January 2001.
The appointment of Advocate Ozanne to the Guernsey
partnership takes the number of partners at Carey Olsen to fourteen
in Guernsey and eleven in Jersey.
