Welcomes Rick Finlay
July, 23, 2003 - Conyers Dill & Pearman, the
international offshore law firm, is pleased to welcome, Richard
L. Finlay as a Partner and head of the Firm's Cayman Islands' office.
Rick joins CD&P from Charles Adams, Ritchie & Duckworth
in Grand Cayman. Over the past seven years, Rick has worked very
closely with members of CD&P on a large number of significant
corporate and commercial transactions.

Rick obtained his LLB with distinction from the
University of Saskatchewan and then subsequently his LLM from Cambridge
University. He was admitted to the Canada Bar in 1982 and the Cayman
Islands Bar in 1989. He has served as a Director of Legal Studies
to the Cayman Islands Government and has lectured in law at the
University of Liverpool in the Cayman Islands. He is an author of
and contributor to several legal publications.
Rick's practice will focus on general corporate
and commercial matters, with particular focus on mutual funds &
investment vehicles as well as securitization and structured finance.
