GIDE LOYRETTE NOUEL TO OPEN LONDON
OFFICE
3 June 2003 Gide Loyrette Nouel is pleased to announce the opening
of a new office in London. The London team will initially comprise
Christopher Mead and Scott Cameron, New York qualified lawyers and
members of the New York Bar, Colin Mercer and Michael Doran, UK
solicitors, and Arnaud Duhamel, an Avocat at the Paris Bar.
In establishing this office, Gide Loyrette Nouel
acquires its own English and American law capacity specialising
in finance and, in particular, securitisation, structured finance
and capital markets.
The synergies which will be generated between this
new office and the rest of Gide Loyrette Nouel's network of offices
(Paris and 14 offices outside France, including an office opened
in New York in 1982) should lead to a significant growth of the
London office in the coming years.
This initiative reflects Gide Loyrette Nouel's intention
to pursue its international development, both by extending its own
network, as is the case with this operation, and by developing its
co-operation with other leading law firms around the World.
