BANKING
AND ACQUISITION FINANCE PARTNER, CHRISTOPHER HALL, TO JOIN LATHAM
& WATKINS’ LONDON OFFICE
London, 22 November 2002. Latham & Watkins is
pleased to announce that Christopher Hall, senior lending and acquisition
finance lawyer, will join the firm’s London office as a partner
in the Banking and Leveraged Finance practice group. Hall was previously
Executive Vice President and General Counsel of KPNQwest, the Netherlands-based
telecommunications company.
Prior to his position at KPNQwest, from 1985 to 2000, Hall practiced
with O’Melveny & Myers where he was head of its London
office from 1992 until 2000. He started his career at Fried Frank
Harris Shriver & Jacobson in New York. Hall is dual-qualified
in the UK and in the US (New York and the District of Columbia).
Hall will continue his practice in leveraged finance (bank finance
and high yield securities), and also structured finance, project
finance, securitisation, debt restructuring and insolvency, private
equity investments, institutional private placements of debt and
equity, and other corporate and financial matters.

area of our English law practice and our transactional practice
