Simmons
& Simmons expands Korean practice with addition of three man
team
Simmons & Simmons has recently expanded its Korean practice with the recruitment
of Korean lawyer JC Lee, as a Consultant to the Hong Kong officeÍs Financial
Markets practice.
JC,
previously with Simmons & Simmons, has returned after a brief absence of six
months. Qualified in New York and England and Wales, JC has a wide range of
experience in structured finance, securitisation, repackagings, derivative
transactions and other capital markets transactions. He was part of the Simmons
& Simmons team advising KAMCO on its first international securitisation of
non-performing loans. His recent experience includes issuance of primary
cross-border CBOs and cross-border securitisation transactions involving unto
loan and credit card receivables.
In
addition to JC, Korean lawyers Sewon Kang and Peter Kwon are joining Simmons &
Simmons Korean practice bringing the total number of Korean speaking lawyers to
five.
