BIOGRAPHY
Diego Rojas M. has been a member of
the firm since 1995. He graduated from Marlborough College, Wiltshire,
England and then obtained his law degree with an honors distinction
from the Universidad CatÑlica Boliviana Law School in La Paz. He
was admitted to practice in 1997. He completed a Post Graduate Program
in Corporate Law at the Universidad Andina SimÑn Bolivar, La Paz
and holds a Masters in Law Degree (LL.M) from the University of
Chicago Law School, where he won an award for Negotiation Skills.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
Mr. Rojas has several publications related to Bolivian Banking Regulations,
Securities Law, Reform to the Pensions and Social Security Systems,
the Legal Validity of Uncertificated Securities in the Electronic
Stock Exchange, the South American Common Market, and the Bolivian
Oil and Gas potential.
Mr. Rojas worked as a Foreign Associate in the Corporate and Securities
Division of Epstein Becker & Green P.C., New York and also worked
as a trainee at Holland & Knight, LLP in New York.
