BIOGRAPHY

Norman Menachem Feder is a New York and Israel admitted attorney, practicing in the areas of finance and international transactions.  He is a partner in the Tel Aviv law firm of Caspi & Co., where he manages the firmÍs international practice.  Mr. Feder advises a wide range of international and domestic financial institutions, corporations, and investment funds on corporate and structured finance, including derivatives and securitisations; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; and a variety of other investment and commercial matters.

Before embarking on private practice, Mr. Feder served as a law clerk, first to Judge Roger Miner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and then to Justice Menachem Elon of the Supreme Court of Israel.  Before that he was a Luce Scholar, acting as a white collar criminal specialist with SingaporeÍs Ministry of Finance.

Mr. Feder is a 1987 graduate of the New York University School of Law, with a degree of J.D. and numerous honors.  Prior to his law studies, Mr. Feder obtained a B.A. and an M.A. degree in literature from Columbia University in New York.

Mr. Feder is the author of numerous articles addressing capital markets, finance and law and was once Editor-in-Chief of New York UniversityÍs Journal of International Law & Politics. He occasionally lectures publicly on legal aspects of finance.  Mr. Feder was an editor of Jewish Law: History, Sources, Principles, the English translation of the multi-volume classic HaMishpat HaIvri, and was an Adjunct Professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York.
